At Springdale First School we have two app-based systems, My Child at School (MCAS) and Parentmail for parents to use. Please see the table below which indicates the different functions of each system.

My Child at School (MCAS) 

MCAS can be accessed from any device with internet access, there is a web-based portal and an app which is free to download. MCAS allows parents to easily update pupil information including medical information and personal details, pay for items such as wraparound care and school trips and keep up to date with account balances. The system is easy to use and takes very little time to register, saving time for parents.

To ensure the safeguarding of our pupils, we ask parents to please ensure that pupil information is updated regularly as soon as any changes occur.

Parentmail

Parentmail can also be accessed from any device with internet access and is also free to download. It is the system we use for communication purposes. We send emails to parents and forms which can be completed for things such as trips.

How to register for MCAS & Parentmail

Once you have confirmed that your child will be starting with us at Springdale, we will use your email address to register you on these two systems. Once we have processed you on MCAS, you will receive a system-generated email with your log-in details, then please use the MCAS Parent Guide attached, which will enable you to work through and set up your new account and dashboard, please make sure to check your junk folder. Once we have processed you on Parentmail, a registration link will be sent to you to enable you to register on-line and start to receive communications.
