E-Safety
At Springdale First School we believe that educating children about being safe online is of the highest importance, especially as more children are using social media to stay in contact with each other.
Digital Well-Being is an integral part of children's education in today's world and is embedded in their learning at school. As part of our curriculum, all children from Foundation to Year 4 follow our IT Scheme of Work which includes a very strong focus on digital literacy, including all aspects of online life such as communications, gaming, file sharing, streaming and downloading.
We have a group of Digital Leaders from years three and four who work alongside our school E-safety champion, Mrs Washbrook, to help keep everyone at Springdale safe online.
