JP Morgan Visit

14th November 2017

On Friday 10th November, twelve children from year 4 attended a technology event ran by JP Morgan in Bournemouth.

The children were given a tour of the company and got involved in various team building and challenge activities. These included: coding a battling robot, instructing a robot to make a sandwich, newspaper and uncooked spaghetti, building and coding moving Lego models and building the tallest self supporting structure they could using only sellotape. Springdale not only came first in the spaghetti challenge but also won the prize for the tidiest team! The children were truly inspired by the day's activities and were given JP Morgan goodies to bring home.

"Pupils thrive at the school, developing outstanding attitudes to learning due to the excellent relationships they form with adults and the very practical, interesting and challenging lesson activities provided. Their excellent behaviour is evident in all aspects of school life."
