Safeguarding Responsibilities

Springdale First School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; we expect all staff, governors, visitors and volunteers to share the same commitment.

Children and Young People have a fundamental right to be protected from harm. If there is any reason to suspect that a student has suffered or is likely to suffer significant harm, staff and visitors must inform the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately. If you need to contact any of the Safeguarding Team, you can do this either by telephone 01202 692700 or email: office@springdale.poole.sch.uk

Our school is also part of Operation Encompass which is a police and education early intervention safeguarding partnership which supports children and young people who experience domestic abuse. Please find below our Operation Encompass Safeguarding Statement and useful links which maybe helpful.
